Joseph was born in 1975 in Nigeria. He graduated from the university of Nigeria, Nsukka, in 2002 with Second Class Upper in Fine and Applied Arts, majoring in painting.
He has held several shows locally and abroad including five solo exhibitions. While his works are widely collected, he lives and works in his studio, Isinka, based in Lagos.
